about
Raj Dhaliwal has been honoured to serve as your City Councillor since 2021. Over the past term, he has turned community priorities into real action: delivering projects like the Cornerstone Fire Station, the widening of Country Hills Boulevard, and pushing forward the Skyview Recreation Hub and 120 acres of new regional parkland in Cornerstone. These are not just promises—they are results you can see.
Before joining City Council, Raj spent more than a decade as a chemical engineer and project manager at Suncor, where he led large-scale projects with accountability and discipline. As an immigrant, father, and long-time community volunteer, he understands the challenges families face in building a life and future in Calgary. His professional expertise and community roots make him a proven leader for Ward 5.
Now, Raj is seeking re-election to continue this progress. With a focus on safer streets, better transit, youth opportunities, and inclusive growth, he is ready to keep building on the foundation we've set together. Raj has the experience you can trust—and the vision to keep Ward 5 moving forward.
